A strong representation of the Abortion Figurations team is among the presenters at this year’s 17th Conference of the European Sociological Association, taking place between August 25th and 28th 2026 in our hometown of Warsaw.
Marta Bucholc will give her presentation entitled “Plural Utopianism and Involvement Patterns: Narrative (De)Construction of the Right to Abortion” on August 27th, at 4:30 PM, in room G-1 01 (SGGW Warsaw University of Life Sciences).
Tomek Detlaf’s presentation “Reconceptualizing the Discourse: Discursive Fields and Text Mapping the in the Study of Abortion Debate in Poland” will take place on August 26th, at 11:00 AM, in room B0 05 (SGGW Warsaw University of Life Sciences).
Carolina Mosquera Vera will speak on “Expanding The Boundaries Of The Justiciable: Feminist Coalitions And Reproductive Rights In Colombia” on August 27th, at 4:30 PM, in room G3 A3 (SGGW Warsaw University of Life Sciences).
